Day 1 -- Why

Here it is, folks, the very first prompt of our 2013 Crafty Neighbor 365!  And the question to begin all questions is, “Why?”.  Sounds simple enough, right?  Answer your why in whatever art form you choose to express yourself.  If you’re using a power word for your 365, be sure that your answer is relevant to your word.

As I mentioned before, I will be doing an art journal for my 365.  I really need some encouragement in the creative department, and I think the art journal will be flexible enough to really get me thinking outside of the box.  I haven’t disclosed my power word, though, so I thought I’d offer a little prize to the first person who can guess it.  Just post your answer as a comment on one of the blog entries.  Earliest date stamp wins.  No cheating, though…if you are one of the few people I already told, you are not eligible.

So here is my entry for today…my “Why”.

Don’t forget to upload your daily creations to our Flikr.com group.  Set up a profile (if you don’t already have one) and join our CraftyNeighbor 365 group.  Then each day you will upload your entries to your photostream, and share them to our CraftyNeighbor365 group using the “add to group” links.  It’s really that simple.
