Congratulations are the theme of the day! I wanted to write up a quick post to
congratulate the winner of our June Blog
Hop. As you know, each blog in the
hop was to select a winner from among the comments to award a fun prize. My giveaway was this fun Vintage Mickey Bag,
which I’ve stuffed with an assortment of goodies, a sample of which is seen
here.
Thanks for all your comments, and I do hope you enjoyed the
hop project this month. We had some
great suggestions for our July hop. We’ll
discuss those over the next few weeks, so check back here on July 15th
to see which topic we chose!
In the mean time, Congratulations to
Marion Corts-Locy!
You are the lucky winner from my blog. Email me at blogwinner@craftyneighbor.com
to make arrangements to receive your prize!
If we do not hear from you within 7 days, we will contact another random
person who qualifies.
So while I was sifting through some of my projects and
trying to decide what would be appropriate for the occasion, I stumbled across
this card. It was a last-minute
graduation card I sent to a lovely young lady last year.
What is neat about this card is what I used to make it. The quote and the background with the bird on
it were actually cards from a stack of journaling prompts I bought for use in
my art journal. Journaling cards are a
very quick and often very pretty way to assemble a card, and they often have
poems, sentiments, or quotes that are perfect for your occasion.
That’s it for today!
Congrats again to our winner, and thank you to everyone who participated
in this month’s blog hop!
