Better Late Than Never

Better late than never!

Yeah, I’m a loser!  You know what they say about the best-laid plans of mice and men….  As many of you know, on Saturday, we hosted our 2nd Annual R. L. Turner Community Crop Party and I managed to miss an entire week of blog posts! On top of that, my studio is such a mess from all the boxes and supplies we brought back – I can’t find the key to the moneybox, so I don’t even know how much money we made! Oops!

Don’t worry though, I do have another key around here somewhere, and I promise, I’m working diligently to get us back on track with the blog.  For all you 365 Challenge participants, don’t worry, the prompts and examples will be posted later today!  In the mean time, check out some cool upcoming events and a page layout just for you!

First Ever Linked In Blog Hop!
Coming up next Monday, April 15, 2013, I will be participating in my first ever blog hop.  We have 18 incredibly talented bloggers lined up to share with you our projects on the theme of “April Showers”, and we’ve pooled together to create a grand prize that you are going to L•O•V•E love!  More details to follow, so come back to learn more about the prize and where the hop starts!

National Scrapbook Day Crop Party
If you are in the Dallas area, come join us for Dallas Crafters Marathon’s May the Fourth Be with You National Scrapbook Day Crop Party!  My good friends at Dallas Crafters Marathon have put together a fabulous crop event for National Scrapbook Day that includes the whole weekend starting May 3 and running through May 5.  Registration is $50 to cro for the entire weekend.  Prizes and meals are included on Saturday only.  See the Dallas Crafters Marathon website for details, but hurry!  Spaces are filling up fast!

6th Annual Scrapbooking Cruise
Join us December 1-8 for this all-inclusive scrapbooking cruise of the Western Caribbean.  We’ll visit the beautiful ports of Roatan, Honduras, Belize City, Belize, and Cozumel Mexico aboard the Royal Caribbean Navigator of the Seas.  While onboard, you will have 24/7-access to our private scrapbooking area, plus you’ll receive kits for every class we offer, make-n-takes, prizes, and fun little surprises every day!  Rates start around $100/per day per person and include all taxes, classes, and fees.  Non-scrapbookers are welcome.  Visit our website for more detail

In addition, I am waiting to find out some dates for an upcoming scrapbook garage sale by the Oh, Crop! meet-up group.  It’s looking like it might be the 2nd weekend in May.  I will keep you posted.  The Crafty Neighbor summer/fall garage sale is still pending as well.  We are waiting on confirmation of the facility’s availability.

Here’s that page layout I promised you!

The patterned paper is from October Afternoon's "Boyfriend" line.  I had a lot of fun punching out the "laundry" to hang on the line.

That’s it for now.  Come back tomorrow for the weekly 365 Challenge and go do something creative!
