News and Information

I don’t have much news this week, but I did want to share with you a couple of quick reminders.

  • Scrapbooking Garage Sale next Saturday (2/9/13):  We don’t have any vendor spaces left, but we would love to have you come out and shop!  We will have more than 41 tables of merchandise ripe for the picking from more than 14 sellers, so there’s bound to be something there you just have to buy!  The sale starts at 9:00 AM and ends at 3:00, but come early to get the best selection.

Please use the rear entrance at

Joann Fogg Service Center
Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas
6001 Summerside Drive
Dallas, Tex 75252

  • We’re bringing back the Mother’s Day Out Crops!  Join us on Thursdays as we crop at various locations throughout the metroplex!  Each week, we will visit some place different.  Our next scheduled crop is for Thursday, 2/7 at Every Last Scrap in McKinney.  The doors open at 10:00 am, so come when you can and stay until you have to leave!  This crop is free, however, please support the stores by making a purchase of some type.

  • Scrapbook Expo is coming to Grapevine!  Check your local scrapbook store for tickets to the all-new and exciting Scrapbook Expo coming to the Gaylord Texan on February 22nd and 23rd.  Stop by Googly Eyes and Craft Supplies in Irving to get a $2 off coupon.

  • Get ready to cruise the Caribbean on the Carnival Magic!  We’ve still got plenty of space left.  This year we will be cruising for 7 days to Jamaica, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel and will have 3 full days of cropping!  For more information, please visit our website at CraftyNeighbor.com for more details.

  • We are currently in search of vendors for our 2nd Annual R. L. Turner Community Crop Party on April 6.  This event is open to the public and benefits the R. L. Turner orchestra programs.  We are looking for scrapbooking and other vendors to operate booths in a merchant's area during the crop.  If you are interested, you can contact us at info@craftyneighbor.com.
